Dublin Caves

At the Shoshone Museum, you can pick up a self guided walking tour and map, and enjoy the historic buildings, the Shoshone cemetery, and the Dublin Caves. The caves were carved out of the clay hills to be homes for prospectors in the area. Some were more elaborate, and had multiple rooms and stories. A three mile trail follows the bluffs overlooking Lake Tecopa, or you can follow a trail behind the Museum along the Tonopah & Tidewater Railroad grade.
