The Maturango Museum, founded in 1962, is an important educational and cultural resource in Ridgecrest, CA. Stop at the Museum and satisfy your curiosity about the Indian Wells Valley, the Northern Mojave Desert, and Eastern California.

Exibits include the area's history, geology, minerals, plants and animals. Native American exhibits include basketry, extensive petrogpyphs and more. We also offer a Museum Store and Vistors Center for Death Valley and the Northern Mojave Desert.
