The Death Valley Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in 1988 to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Death Valley area so that its business community shall prosper with particular attention and emphasis given to the economic, civil, commercial, industrial and educational interests of the area.
The area represented by the Death Valley Chamber of Commerce includes all of Death Valley National Park, Shoshone, Tecopa, and Death Valley Junction. Our membership includes businesses, organizations and individuals from Owens Valley, CA, and surrounding communities of Nevada as well.
The Death Valley Chamber is also affiliated with Silver Trails organizations of Nevada and the Inyo Coalition of County Chambers. The territory we cover is one of the largest areas in the country.
Any reputable business, non-profit organization or individual having an interest in the objectives of the organization shall be eligible for membership.
Members whose primary activities are within the defined area are classified as voting members. Non voting members include all individuals and businesses conducting business outside of the defined area.
Stop by and see us! Our office and Visitor Center is located in the town of Shoshone, in space shared with the Shoshone Museum. Regular Museum hours are 10:00-4:00 seven days a week. (Summer hours may vary.) Enjoy our outdoor Visitors Kiosk 24 hours a day, as well as free wifi Internet access.
